Our very own Danielle Mapes is taking over the gallery walls next week with her solo show "Give Me Space: Summoning the Void." Be one of the first to see it on Thursday for the opening - starts at 5pm (masked hour), 6-9pm (masks optional).

Danielle Mapes is a multidisciplinary artist who works and resides in Seattle, Washington. She studied sculpture at Metropolitan University of Denver in Colorado and ceramics at Shoreline Community College in Washington. In recent years, she has added oil painting to her repertoire. In all mediums, Danielle explores the entwined relationships between trauma and evolution, on both a personal and cultural level, and is a passionate advocate for raising awareness about women's issues.

​D.Lisa and her sister, Anita West, share an art studio at Ballardworks where they teach and make art. Come visit, as D.Lisa is moving her studio, this is the end of the sisters sharing their art space for now...

From 6-9 on Thursday the 17 of March, the building will be open for Ballard Night Out. First time open since last summer, the artists in the building are excited to have their studios open, and their art on the walls! Come join us!

Several artists, new and returning, will show their new work and some archived art found while we all reorganized our spaces recently. Come enjoy some art and arty conversation!

The show can be viewed with a private appointment after March 17th, please contact an artist directly to see their work.
